Location – Volcan Grande, Jinotega
Variety – Maracaturra, Caturra, Catuai, Bourbon
Harvest – December – March
Process – Fully washed and sun-dried on raised African drying beds.

La Trampa has been run by five generations of the La Rué family, pioneers in Caturra production in the northern region of Nicaragua. Their knowledge about traditional cultivation techniques has been passed down through the generations, helping the family achieve some of the highest quality production in Nicaragua.
The name ‘La Trampa’ comes from the visitors who would often comment that they found it impossible to leave this stunning hacienda that trapped them with its breathtaking views! 
For us at the roastery this is the perfect summer coffee; light and playful with incredible notes of tropical fruits. Enjoy!
