Sourced from a farming collective who are based near the town of Kochere; Beloya is the name of the washing station where this coffee was processed and selected.
Beloya is located in the coffee producing area of Sidamo, East of the Rift Valley. Coffee farming here ranges in elevation from 1600 - 2100 M and is set apart from the rest of the Ethiopian coffee landscape by its distinctive cultivation system. Producers here practice agroforestry where mixed crops are intensively managed in harmony with forest trees and other canopy vegetation.
